This multi-disciplinary EPSRC project aims to synthesise macrocyclic luminescent probes to detect specific analytes in vapour and liquid. Our latest paper in Chem. Commun. introduces a new lanthanide tag that labels cysteine residues on proteins within 2 hours, significantly enhancing protein structure determination through paramagnetic NMR, EPR, and emission spectroscopy. In collaboration with Prof. Otting (ANU) and part of the Australian CIPPS research centre.  Congratulations Lydia!
